I am currently accepting new counselling clients via Skype. Neurofeedback appointments will be available November 2019 and can be booked now.

I am continually energized by the strength and courage of those desiring to embark on the path of personal growth. Walking alongside individuals on this journey brings deep significance to my own life and is an opportunity I do not take for granted. I am truly honoured to join clients as they process pain, overcome obstacles, and move towards increasing a sense of self-confidence and joy in daily living.

I am eager to work with adults, adolescents and children regarding an array of presenting concerns. In particular, I am passionate about working with individuals as they process both acute and developmental trauma. Emotional dysregulation caused by trauma often results in unhealthy forms of coping such as high anxiety, numbing (dissociation), self-harm, eating disorders, addictions and depression. My heart responds deeply to these issues and the resulting fears and relationship conflicts that often surround them.

My Qualifications & Approach to Therapy:
  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
  • Registered Clinical Counsellor- British Columbian Association of Clinical Counsellors
  • Clarity Direct Neurofeedback Practitioner
  • OEI (Observed Experiential Integration) Certification- Level I & II
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Certification- Level I
  • Sand Tray/Rice Tray Therapy
  • Art/Movement Therapy
  • Working with the Neurobiological Legacy of Trauma Series- Janina Fisher- Level II & III

As a therapist and neurofeedback practitioner, I am committed to continuing my professional development as well as intentionally pursuing my own personal growth. The variety of approaches I use in therapy allow me to more effectively respond to individual preferences and the diverse concerns of the people I work with. I aim to help clients gain awareness of, as well as access to, their own internal resources. In effect, drawing on these often hidden resources allows clients to obtain an enduring sense of empowerment and strength. I seek to provide a safe environment, respect, compassion, and psychological knowledge for my clients as they work through the life challenges and pain that they face.
